Hobsonville Marina were having a clear-out of their "rotten row" and Sea Reaper was briefly in jeopardy. Fortunately before the demolition had extended downwards from the superstructure, some good soul bought her cheap and she is currently being stored in Whenuapai.
Her Gardner has been removed and she waits attention.
She was reputedly an Athol Burns design built by Lidgards at Baywater '63-64.
Hopefully her new upper works will be as aesthetic as the original.
Any boat or being with as shapely a rear end deserves a good home.
We await future updates.

She fished out of Gisborne for a time when new. Spent some time in Wellington at Paremata and went over to the Chathams for a time. Not sure what happened after that or why she apparently fell on such hard times.
The two pix just below are of her in Wellington an are from Chris Rabey. Other one shows her underwater lines from her present resting place.
